Wow! An incredible experience staying at La Lomita. Beautiful, breathtaking views. A lovely home, fully stocked kitchen. Slept with the windows open at night. So peaceful. We loved exploring the desert surroundings and sipping coffee on the porch. Already planning a return trip! 10/10 recommend.

La Lomita was excellent. The property is comfortable, spacious, and very well stocked. Directions are helpful for where to find everyday things you need. It is just lovely - the attention to detail without feeling overwhelming. And the books ... many interesting and diverse titles. ☺️

No air conditioning so we checked out wasn’t there but about an hour. The owner wouldn’t return our calls or emails until 4 days later and when he did he said he wouldn’t give us a complete refund!!!

Fantastic Desert Dwelling!
La Lomita was superb! Perfect desert dwelling with skies so dark that you’ll see stars you never though possible! Carl and Gretchen were great the entire process. Communication was simply top-notch from beginning to end. The house was clean, bright, and very comfortable! The location was excellent, affording access to anything in the area that you might want to do; from the many restaurants (try Socorro’s, it’s excellent) to recreation and city visiting from Taos to Santa Fe. I highly recommend this property!

Our stay here was fabulous. The property was pristine with lots of places to explore. The location was perfect for us to check our Santa Fe, Ojo Caliente and Bandelier Monument. The house was a blessing to return to and relax each evening. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

This property was a really comfortable space. The home was really clean and we loved everything about it! Kitchen well stocked for cooking and a nice space to eat together as a family. Wonderful views from the living room, space for our children to play outside, and a good central location on a gated road for easy access to surrounding areas.

Quiet gated community, home was stocked with everything we needed and then some, less perishables. Beds, chairs, couches were very comfy. Kitchen is fully stocked (plastic ziploc baggies would be nice) and functional. Tons of books available to read, lots of extra pillows and blankets. Truly a gem of a home, very comfortable. Would love to rent again sometime.

Wonderful Week Stay
La Lomita had everything we needed for our first trip to the southwest! Stores and restaurants not too far away, yet far enough away to see (easily) the Milky Way in the sky. The owners gave plenty of instructions on the area and how to arrive at the house, though Google did get us there. We plan to return in the coming years!
