"This is a beautiful, old fashioned property. The decore and landscaping looked like it was 1960’s. It’s quiet and comfortable with grand views of the city and mountains behind it! The staff is professional and polite. We love this hotel…. We saw other Americans staying there. This is a great stay for someone that wants modern comforts. (Plenty of hot water)"

"Every staff member at Hotel Fortin were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms were spotless, well maintained and very comfortable. The restaurant had delicious breakfast and dinner items at a very reasonable price. Lastly the location of the hotel was close to all major attractions while still being quiet at nighttime. Overall amazing experience and highly recommend. "

"Our stay was wonderful, the staff was so friendly and considerate, they know we arrived on an early flight and we were exhausted they put us in area that would not hear much noise so we can rest. This hotel is in the middle of everything in the most beautiful town, you can literally see everything from the balcony. I have recommended this hotel to all my friends. "

"The hotel is next to Zocalo, which is really good. But it is quite far from restaurants. Most are located to the north or the east of Zocalo - about 15-20 minutes away from Trebol The hotel itself is very clean with daily towel changes. The breakfast is truly amazing. I loved the property, and the staff are excellent."

"Very beautiful place, the only downside is that they don’t have elevators. Our room was on the fourth floor it was difficult to walk upstairs with kids, luggage’s, and it was super hot "

"Overall the hotel is fine. However the facilities seems stuck on the 80s, not because they want to keep the esthetics. But because it seems that the hotel furniture is the same as it was 40 years ago. The mirrors in the reception bathroom are deteriorated, the telephone in the room is yellow due to the deterioration of the plastic, or the floors in the hallways of the rooms are dirty."

"This is a nice place, we felt safe and reasonably comfortable. During our visit, we had multiple reservations and multiple rooms. Not all beds are created equal. One other area, their morning breakfast service needs some attention to quality. My immediate family has high standards/expectations, even in Oaxaca. "

"So cozy! They keep it so clean. They offer fruits, coffee, water and Pan Dulce in the morning. Brenda is great very helpful. For me went Beyond my expectations. Good Place to stay and plus the Plaza de las Nieves is steps away. "

"We enjoyed our stay very much! It was an excellent location - very walkable to restaurants and attractions, but located in a well maintained area of town that was peaceful and quiet, even during the holiday week. The suite is nicely appointed and very comfortable. Our only disappointment was in not having enough pods to provide us with coffee each morning. I will definitely return and would select a room on the upper level next time for additional light. I highly recommend this property. "
