We loved this semi-secluded, lake front house. It had so much historical charm, with stone walls, high ceilings, wooden beams, and large windows and doors. You don’t need AC, because the house was built to allow air flow and a wonderful cross-breeze. Also, the dock was great. We could dock boats right in front of the house, and take our canoe out easily. The house was well-equipped with everything you need. My only minor suggestions would be a little TLC to the master bath and the draining systems. The showers were a little clogged before we even showered. Also, squirrels or chipmunks chew holes in the kitchen , and steal food. We found one of our grilling seasonings out front, as well as a few things nibbled into. As long as you store bread and other items in the pantry, fridge, or on top of the fridge, you’re fine. These are minor things, and didn’t change how much we love and enjoyed the house. The deer family that lives in the woods next door became our friends, which was so cool. We loved this place so much we are already thinking of planning another trip back next summer.
