“Palulu Garden Homestay recommended me this Homestay. Difficult to find their location, they tried to send me to an „other“ homestaylocation by taxi. Finally got the room. Just a bed - that‘s it. No towels… Bumgun was not working the first evening. Toilet is broken - when you flush, the excrements will be pushed out between toilet and floor. Internet not working. “The hotel itself was beautiful but unfortunately the immediate area around the hotel is not - and had lots of building works going on - also not having a bar or restaurant or communal area on site is a negative - staff were lovely and helpful and as I said the hotel was lovely too ”

Great location and would normally be okay

"Was ok until the unfortunate passengers who’d been rerouted from Bali all descended on our hotel. The hotel was just not capable of dealing with such demand and traffic so service was incredibly slow and disorganised. They ran out of food and they ran out of alcohol."

Not a five star hotel

"I chose this hotel because it’s so close to the harbor and my kid could get 10 more minutes sleep on the day for our speed boat trip. But the prayer at 4:00 am was rather loud, I respect the culture but … then actually my kid had a lot less sleep! And then 6:00am, crazy loud music was playing across the street (we were on the hill side). I left the fruit from breakfast box in the fridge and at night, papaya was molded! Breakfast on 6th floor was not organized. I ordered a latte and need to go get my coffee at the bar or it will never be my turn! Finally, I dialed to the front desk, and no one ever pick up!"
