"

"When we vacation, we road trip and never stay in one location very long. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms are “new”-ish (as compared to the original house) cabins behind the main house. The property is located in a rural area of Normandy and we had a cow pasture right behind us. We enjoyed our evening in Merville at the beach. We had just come from Paris so the slower country side pace was very refreshing. Our trip was in July but we were able to stay comfortable in our room....

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the Norman house. Communication with Patrice was easy and the check-in process smooth. The house was clean and neat. Linen’s were fresh. The backyard was beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet, and the neighbors friendly. The area is awash in history. About an hour from Normandy, this locale enable us to see everything we wanted and more. We had a change of plans and had to check out early, but we enjoyed our stay very much."

"Probably the worst hotel I have stayed. Rooms, furniture, bathroom - all very old. I had a very different expectation from the pictures I saw on-line. We were lucky to stay only 2 nights."
