“Beautiful view of the harbour from our balcony. Clean and comfortable accommodation though dated, the more modern accommodation is up the hill. Beautiful buildings and houses in the village, restaurant was amazing for a seafood buffet dinner. Gordon river cruise across the road. Lovely pub nearby and other food options. Staff helpful with advise and directions. Very enjoyable 3 night stay. ”

“We made a spur of the moment decision to travel to Devonport (from Hobart) so that we could then go to Cradle Mountain, after the overnight stay. The room we stayed in (2 x queen bed, port view) was very comfortable and great value ($181 per night). The only thing slightly annoying was the lack of car parking options close to the hotel, we reluctantly paid a $25 concierge fee, at least the car was secure. Overall, we would recommend. “The cottage is perfectly located in from of the lake, from the room balcony, I can easily see the wild animals around. Room is perfectly furnished and clean.
