Perfect for our large group

Beautiful property to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. Our extended family joined and there was plenty of room for everyone. The fireplace was the hit with everyone. So cozy and relaxing!

Perfect Weekend

We had 10 people traveling to visit our daughter for Homecoming at Bama. We loved the house … especially the screened porch! Perfect place to relax after the craziness of football festivities on campus! Would definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving reunion

Very grateful to have such a wonderful stay at this property. The set up was perfect for our niece. The accessible bedroom and bathroom upstairs were greatly appreciated. Very surprised to see how well appointed the kitchen was. It had everything you needed. It really felt homie.

Fantastic Property

This home was amazing! Very clean with lots of space for our group. Absolutely beautiful views as we were right on the lake. Quiet, safe and beautiful. We were in the area for college tour of Univ of AL and to watch the game on Saturday! My dad, 81 yrs old, whose life long dream was to see Bama play ball! We made that happen and the home away from home made our stay complete! Thank you and we will definitely rent again! BTW, my nephew got accepted to UofA so we will be back!

Family Trip

The house was clean and inviting. Nicely decorated and had a regular coffee pot plus a Keurig. Enough rooms for everyone and great views of the water! We spent most of our time on the large screened in porch and in the water! Stores were close by as well to get anything else you needed.

We loved our stay! Our son graduated UA and family joined us for this special occasion. We felt very comfortable at the property. We enjoyed the lake and all the amenities. It was spacious and cozy. The property was very true to the description. Our family wants to come back in 3 years when our son graduates law school!

Football Weekend

Wow! This is the place you want to be!

This is an incredibly wonderful location! The sunrise and sunsets over the lake are beautiful. There was no noise, just peace and quiet. It is a relatively short drive to get anywhere, which was super convenient. If you have a desire for a great place to stay, then this place is for you!

Peaceful Relaxing and Beautiful

A beautiful house with an even more beautiful view. From the screened in porch to all the attention to detail in the house this is a well stocked, very comfortable house to enjoy the lake and the peacefulness that comes with it. We were a big group of couples that all loved our stay here. King beds were very comfortable and the house is stock with all of the necessities. Wish we lived closer, we would definitely stay here often.

Hidden Gem on Lake Tuscaloosa

I and my familly (7 adults and 5 children) had a wonderful new years holiday on the property. The house was clean with excellent touches everywhere to make guests feel welcome (air fresheners, plenty of towels, soap and shampoo in the bathrooms, fire starters, and plenty of wood) and a nicely stocked kitchen for guests who like to cook. The house was plenty big for our party when you include the dual wrap around porches which would be even better in the summer. All told a house we'll definitely book again in the area.

Family Celebration for our sisters 60th birthday

I can not say enough good things about this perfect lake house. Our family had a great time together celebrating our sisters birthday. The house is located in a perfect area on the lake. We never worried about our boat being damaged from the waves of the boat traffic. The house is situated in a perfect slough that offers great water for swimming, boating or just sitting on the porch looking at the view of the lake. Some of the older adults really enjoyed the screened in porch with fans that allowed them to watch the children have fun in the water. We cooked all our meals here in the kitchen that offered all the necessities we needed to cook with and we also had a nice grill for grilling out. There is a very large beautiful dining table and tables on the screened in porch that provided enough room for everyone to sit while they enjoyed their meal. The entire house is beautifully decorated. I have never stayed in a house with so many king size beds. It was awesome. Lake Tuscaloosa is a beautiful lake. Many of the larger lakes in Alabama get very congested, but we were there from Thursday - Sunday and we had great water for skiing and boating the entire time. We also loved that there was a boat launch, grocery store and gas station very close to the house. I highly recommend this lake house to everyone. We made so many great memories and I can't wait to come back next year. Thank you so much to the owners who were more than accomodating and made our stay perfect.

No extra pillows or blankets / dusty

I called after the first night asking where I could find extra pillows and blankets but the owner was not very friendly at all. He sent a women over to see what was wrong and she was extremely nice and said he would get back to us.But unfortunately he never did! So we never received extra pillows or blankets. There were not even enough pillows to go around especially in the bunk bed room they only had the decorative ones and we wouldn’t use those. The house was very dusty and the floors needed to be cleaned. My granddaughters socks were black with dirt after walking in the hardwood floors and full of dust balls. Besides that the house is beautiful and roomy Outside is very rundown but inside is all new. We just expected more since we were were charged over 7,000 for 4 nights. We were ok paying we were there for graduation but it wasn’t worth what we paid it’s way overpriced. It’s kind of sad you come from out of state and they know it’s Graduation or a football game snd the prices are jacked up. Def not like staying jn a hotel with plush amenities but it was nice to have everyone stay all together!!

Thanksgiving/Iron Bowl

Our growing family rented this home to celebrate Thanksgiving and attend the Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa. It was the perfect location, beautiful views and had everything we needed to celebrate Thanksgiving. We even rented a pontoon boat for a day to explore the lake. We would definitely stay here again.

Bama Homecoming

We stayed at this home for Bama Homecoming with 2 other couples and 1 single mom. The house was perfect! 4 bedrooms with kings! No one has to fight for a big bed. One room had 2 bunk beds, so would have been great if there were kids coming as well. House was very clean, and the view of the lake is spectacular! Would rent here again without hesitation. The house is only 20-25 min from campus.
