"The two most important things were that the bed was excellent and we were able to find a room in Mt. Shasta that didn't previously have pets in it. I had to call five hotels just to find a pet free room. The shower was less than stellar and I didn't use it. The front desk closes at 8:00 so we never saw a live person coming or leaving. "

"The hotel room was filthy. The smell of cigarette smoke was not bearable. The hotel was in poor repair. A disgusting place. We did not stay but booked a different hotel. I feel if a hotel was listed as smoke free, it should have been just that. I would like to receive a refund."

"Standard Motel 6, the property is older, the walls are thin, but it was clean, water was hot, and bed was firm, but comfortable. "

"The Railroad House in McCloud, CA was really great. The hosts were very nice, the home was a wonderland of train memorabilia, the breakfast was fantastic. They even made a birthday card and special breakfast for my son on his day. If you are visiting the area, especially with children that like trains, check out the Railroad House B&B."

"The hot tub was good, the room was quiet and clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was good, except it should go a little later, it ended at 9am, it should go to 10am. I would stay here again. 2 weeks prior i stayed at another hotel in the same town that was way more expensive and I was not happy there. This room was way better."
