"The reviews are a little mixed for this hotel, but thought to still give it a go. Yes it's a little older hotel, not a brand new development. However the building and grounds are well maintained and inside is clean and tidy. Polite welcome on reception and the room was comfy, clean and tidy. Well appointed bathroom and good shower pressure. Couldn't really asked for anything else and will return if in the area on business. Cannot comment on food as didn't eat there "

"We had to book here last minute with the fire at Heathrow to fly out of Birmingham. They were very accommodating and so helpful. They had a ton of people book last second and even though they were very busy, they took the time to help us in a time of need. Thank you! Would definitely recommend. "

"Great hotel and only 15 minute walk to town centre. No parking but there is a public car park a 5 min walk away which was £11 for 24hrs. Room and bathroom great size and very clean. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was mostly good but only eggs were scrambled and they and the bacon were hard as sat under heat lamps "

"Repeat visit to hotel and didn’t disappoint. Great room this time large and spacious with floor length windows dual aspect giving the room a bright outlook. Breakfast although relocated outside of the dining space was well catered for with excellent choice and variety to offer. "

"It's what you'd expect from a Hilton - a very pleasant, clean, comfortable, spacious room with a huge bed in a nice hotel. We enjoyed using the pool and spa and the buffet breakfast was the perfect start to a busy day. Blackout blinds and good sound proofing meant that we slept well. The area's quiet and nothing to get excited about, but super convenient for the NEC, which is why we stayed there. We really appreciated the view of the lake. Extras like parking and drinks in the bar are expensive, though."
