"Great remodel, excellent food at restaurant, friendly staff, comfy new rooms. Safe valet $25 a night (do not park on the street). No coffee in rooms or lobby ($4 cup at restaurant), homeless everywhere outside, half door showers, loud road (located on central so expected). All in all great spot for adults, it’s kid friendly but the downtown is so dangerous and full of homeless with nothing for kids to do walking distance. Awesome pool, beautiful hip hotel, cool murals, Bring your own kettle...

"Lovely classic La Fonda at its best. Kevin Wu efficiently, professionally, courteously checked us in and our rooms were absolutely lovely. Clean, quiet, comfortable beds, beautiful Santa Fe style decor and Nespresso coffee makers with liquid creamer in the room to top it all off - perfect!"

"Perfect location comfortable rooms. Only downside was they were painting the entire floor we were on. The smell and furniture location due to the painting wasn’t the best. Fortunately couldn’t smell it in our room. Bathtub did not drain, stood in water while showering. Had a shirt taken with towels by housekeeping, never returned. Super friendly staff. Loved the attached restaurant. Excellent service. Would book it again if no construction or repairs happening. "
