"Family getaway, took grandkids to SantaLand and Oconaluftee Visitor Center & Farm, Mingus Grist Mill and ate lots of great food! Wonderful burgers, wings & onion rings at Brickhouse Pizza & Wings and Carvers Maggie Valley restaurant had delicious fried chicken and fried trout. The creek was greatly enjoyed by grandkids as well as all the outdoor playground equipment. We had a wonderful time, house was easy to find and no winding roads to get to house. This was our fourth visit in as many years, and yet we continue to be amazed by the view of the mountains, the amenities, the comfiness, and, yes, the serenity.
