「Nice location and clean. Beware the beds are really soft and the pillows over stuffed. It was tough to sleep in such a great location because we were used to firmer beds and softer pillows. BUT WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.」

「The motel had been updated, and is basic but cute. It was very clean and the price was great. The staff we ran into were friendly. This is a very basic, older place. It was quiet, and clean. The office had coffee in the morning. It wasn't open all the time, but check in and out was easy. 」

「Uniquely classic 50s. Loved the old fashioned bathroom- so much like the home I grew up in. Two blocks from waterfront!! Closest neighbor a city park. Even a screen door. Price unbeatable. I don't particularly like cold, sterile modern (or fancy) hotels. Ventura was super clean, accessible and classic.」

「When the smoke alarm started to chirp annoyingly we called the front desk and it was attended to within 15 minutes. They did Ofer us a different room but the “fix” was the preferred solution. The staff are certainly on the ball it seems.」
