"I wasn’t here for a luxury stay but was looking for a place to stay for the nights. It did its job. The room was small as expected but I was impressed how it was so clean and efficient. Recommend being in the main building as it is newer. "

"We stayed here while hiking the nakasando trail and it was the best decision. The onsen was beautiful. Everything was clean. Staff were superb. The dinner and breakfast buffets were amazing. Can’t wait to come back. "

"The best part of the room was the shower - look for the waterfall shower-head -- an unexpected luxury in an otherwise very basic room. I found the bed and pillow to be quite hard, and the breakfast was very basic Japanese fare (onigiri, miso soup, plain bun). "

"The room was lovely! The decentralized style meant we were a little further from our planned activities, but it was nice! We had also planned on checking out around 8 and leaving our luggage at reception, but that doesn’t open until 8. Small issues though. Fun modern rooms!"

"Perhaps be more flexible on check in time. It was drizzling n cold. We arrived at 14.10 but were not able to chk in as the staff said the room was not ready. Otherwise everything was perfect n highly recommend"
