"Loved the amazing staff. Rooms with hot tubs and room service were great. Restaurant on site was nice, but more than we were prepared to spend at a restaurant in Japan. We found a couple of nice places in the nearby town where we enjoyed more traditional Japanese-style meals/ambiance. Overall we were very happy with our stay here. But again, hands down the staff was superb. "

"A magical experience. From the moment we were picked up from Mishima station by the free hotel shuttle, to the time we left, it was all amazing. The hotel has a stunning position on the cliff edge overlooking the sea and sitting outside on a wintry evening with a glass of wine and our feet in the warm foot bath, watching the sun set over the water, was one of the highlights of our time in Japan. Our room was better than the pictures had led us to believe and had everything we could want, including an incredible view. Dinner and breakfast were buffet style and very comprehensive. There were some interesting walks nearby and the local bus trip over to Shimoda after our stay was sensational. It's a beautiful part of Japan, we enjoyed our stay and would happily return."

"The absolute perfect ending to my Japan trip! I was in awe the moment I arrived at this property. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, making the overall experience fantastic. The property is beautiful and I couldn't stop smiling when I was shown around my room, I was so excited! I have some tattoos, so I couldn't use the public baths, but I knew that before I booked, so it's okay because the private Cyprus bath I had with my room was heavenly. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on, it's like I was sleeping on a cloud. I booked half-board, so I received dinner and breakfast [which was delicious, compliments to the chefs] with a beautiful view outside. I was asked beforehand about any allergies. A nice little personal touch to this experience was getting to pick out a Yukata for myself, upon check-in. I selected a light blue Yukata with pretty white flowers, paired with a sash that was dark blue on one side and pink on the other. They really know how to make you feel welcomed here. Thank you for the wonderful experience! I loved everything about it!"
