"Beautiful view of Mount Fuji for the hotel room and rooftop. Very unique (traditional Japanese style). Far from other tourist attractions but the bus stop is right outside the hotel, so that was super convenient. The view makes it worth it. "

"After a few rainy days in Tokyo, we arrived at this hotel still under grey skies, and with not much hope of seeing Mt. Fuji. Hiowever, on opening the curtains the next morning...Wow!! What a site! The view of Fuji from our room was stunning, magnificent! The room was nice an big, although perhaps a little dated (some USB ports would be nice!), but overall, can't complain! We took advantage of the hotel shuttle bus into town, which is very useful, although could be more frequent than once an hour, and has to be pre-booked during busy hours (early morning etc). Additionally, the final service back from town is 19:45, which means there's not really an opportunity to experience the restaurants in Fujikawaguchiko unless you get a taxi back. But to be honest, I would have happily walked back to the hotel to see that view!"

"This is the small hotel that they use the exterior for the Netflix drama series “ Hot Spot”. The interior is much more spacious than what we see in the TV show. It is located in the remote area and it’s inconvenient for shopping, etc. However, it is an advantage for people who want to avoid the hassle of overtourism in the Mt. Fuji area. The room was newly renovated and the bedding was very comfortable. We didn’t eat at their restaurant, but they have a fridge in the room, so we brought our food and had cozy time enjoying the view of Mt.Fuji from our window. "

"Beautiful hotel with a magnificent view of Mt Fuji. It is a grand yellow hotel nestled in the hillside so the hotel itself is quite picturesque. We booked a room with a private indoor onsen with a spectacular view of the Mt Fuji from the room including from the onsen. The water was hot and relaxing and the hotel has free bath salts of several fragrances to add to the water. The breakfast is quite good with a large variety of food. Dinner also has a lot of variety and quantity. It is not directly in Kawaguchiko and is about a 15 minute drive away from the station with a free hotel shuttle to and from the station. Definitely worth it for the view."

"Very nice and friendly staff. Everyone greets you as you walk by. The negative is that neither of the non-reserved outdoor baths have a locker to put our valuables. Some of the wood in the baths are a little slippery as well. Otherwise we had an amazing stay and I’ll come again."
