"The resort was perfect for skiing at Rusutsu. The mountain was perfect, especially for early season skiing. The ski locker situation was ideal - lockers for every room, short walk to the first lift. Great restaurant options ~10 in the immediate area. Highly recommend this place. "

"It seems like a hotel that also catered for long stays for temporary workers? E.g. ski instructors etc? There were some rooms with kitchen facilities for everyone to use at each level. The only issue we faced was the water from the bathroom was chalky (the one in the toilet and communal facilities were clear). We were not sure if its safe for consumption and the front desk could only advise us to let the water run for some time. Eventually, as we were with a 2.5 year old kid, we simply relied on bottled water. But other than that, he hotel and room condition are good. And it felt homely in the very cold condition when we were in Niseko. The breakfast at the hotel, for 2700 yen is also good. Staff was polite and helpful. Location was not bad too. We could not get a larger room, if there are."

"Great location and friendly staff. Easy 10 min walk to gondolas. Great spot for food trucks and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Complementary food basket in our room on arrival very thoughtful and helpful. We will be back!"

"PROS: - Spacious room. - They provide all the amenities. - I do appreciate the toilet and shower bring separate. - Exterior lights make it convenient to find from the street:) This was a huge plus for someone who isn't familiar with the area. Once I got to the main street and saw the exterior lights, it made finding my way back to the hotel super helpful. - Customer service is great. - They're willing to hold your luggage as you explore the area. - It is about an 8 min. walk to Otaru canal. - There is a shopping street right next to the hotel and a Lawson's right around the corner. CONS: - It is about a 10 min. walk from the station, which is not bad, but if you're going during winter time, walking around with a wheelie bag/luggage is going to be pretty rough. - I wouldn't say it's super budget friendly, unless you're sharing a room and splitting the cost. Overall, I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Would I stay here again? Yes. It was a good central hub in the midst of touristy area. "

"Well located hotel right in front of the Otaru train station. Service is best in class. Onsen offers variety of choices including outdoors and indoors. 9 to 11 pm offers free ramen and ice cream. In the morning it offers free yogurt drink and welcome snacks. Little things add up to an unforgettable experience. My wife and daughter enjoy the stay very much. Also, it is 3 minute walk from fish market with lots of fresh seafood options. The whole town with many landmarks, museums, shops and restaurants, this is the ultimate #1 first stop in Hokkaido. We highly recomend this hotel for your stay in Otaru."

"Beautiful property and facilities with high-end finishes and design. Excellent food (breakfast) and good restaurants. Only downside is that there is no walkable "local" area to explore. The hotel is self-contained but isolated, and one needs to take the shuttle to Hirafu to be in town. That said, it was a wonderful place to ski in and out of, with fantastic service and amenities."
