"Wonderful condo in a great location. We loved all the local shops & restaurants in the area. The condo itself was beautiful & a wonderful way to house our large crowd comfortably without separating us. We don't live far from New Orleans, so when we return, this will be the place we hopefully we can return to! Fully stocked, beautiful furnishings, comfortable furniture, privacy & security. "I stayed at Travelers New Orleans between March 2-March 5, 2005 during Mardi Gras. It reminded of a hostel with a private room with a full bathroom. It has a common kitchen, a common area and code entry to the building and the room. It was in a decent location of the "Garden District" about a 20-minute walk from the tourist areas of Bourdon Street and the French Quarter. "The house itself was gorgeous, especially the inside and it’s nice and quiet. It IS on the other side of the river and walking under that bridge is sketchy. There are a lot of homeless people in the area and as a woman staying there alone I wouldn’t want to be there by myself at night. The kitchen is more for show than anything else. They have what you need to make coffee but I use a different machine and didn’t want to spend time making it and potentially breaking it. "
