"Charming hotel. Love the history. Staff is extremely nice and welcoming. Enjoyed quietly reading a book by the fire pits. I happened to stay in a room that was above the furnace, I guess? So my “Comfort “ rating would have been higher, but my room was pretty hot - even with the window propped open. Not a huge deal tho. Really loved my first trip to BI and my stay at The National. Will definitely be back. Thanks again to the staff!"

"If you stay here, you are literally at the center of downtown. Clean rooms, friendly staff. You need to check in at 1661 down the road and they will store your bags on arrival/departure day.
