The cabin is beautiful, but upon arrival, the lockbox was left open which startled me. My family and I had difficulty sleeping because of the open lockbox, but if not for that only reason, this is a beautiful place to stay.
Me and my friends stayed for a week and had a great time. The space was great and fit perfectly for our needs its also in perfect distance to going shoping and haveing fun in either Gatlinburg or Pidgeon Forge. The only thing we might sugest is that the outside lights be brighter, my friend who brought her dogs often didnt like to go out at night because the lights wernt all that bright expecely the back flood lights but really that would be the only thing everything eles was great and we will defently come back whenever we come back to the area.

Loved the property but not impressed with all the tiny rules.
I loved the property’s itself. I wasn’t impressed with how NONE of the outside lights worked so my dogs could use the bathroom without a flashlight. You could only turn the heat up to 65, and it was literally 28 degrees. You have to take short showers—it’s plastered everywhere. And you don’t have access to the garage that it shows on the website (it’s completely locked with a key you don’t get) Also be remindful that THE PET FEES ARE NOT IN THE TOTAL THAT YOU PAY, he will ask for cash before you leave. I will not be back and thankfully we left the night before our actual checkout date because we were so mad.
This property was very nice…secluded with great Mountain View’s. It was a little further away from Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge than we anticipated but we made it work for our day trips. They offered delivery of breakfast which we took advantage of and enjoyed! Only downfall was the amount of stink bugs in the upper bedroom. It was horrible. Especially waking up in the middle of the night with them on you! I know this is a difficult thing to control as we have them at home but not to this extreme.
The pictures do not do this cabin justice!!! It was so clean , had everything an then some !! The bed in the master was the best ! Usually the beds are hard or too soft this one was perfect for my bad back ! Tammy was so very nice ! This place will definitely be on my list to go back too ! My only regret is we should have stayed the week !!! Loved this place not one issue what so ever !!
We had an amazing short trip. The house was excellent, the only comment I have is that I don't believe it is biker friendly. I only say this because the driveway/road to get to the house is a very rough gravel road. We were on motorcycles and were not prepared or aware of this. The house itself was perfect!
We absolutely loved this cabin from the view to the beautiful decor. It had everything we needed and we loved that we could bring our fur baby. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the front porch looking at the beautiful view and at night cooking dinner over the fire pit. We will definitely come back!
Originally planned one day stay with my family and at last moment needed an extra day and host was great to make things right. Beautiful home, spotless and located in secluded area with a fire pit to enjoy the outside. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stayed.
The cabin is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, semi-secluded. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. Very tastefully decorated.
Myself and family really enjoyed being within the surrounding nature. Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge are less than a 40 minute drive away.
The host were so very accommodating and responsive.
Will definitely continue to book with getfartheraway.com.
I highly recommend this property .
We will be coming back. Perfectly set up with all the essentials. Tastefully decorated, great communication with owners, and super clean! Thank you for sharing!
My mother and I stayed here for a recent vacation. The view from the cabin is great! It is in a very quiet and secluded area. The property was clean and well kept. The owners were sure to provide everything we could possibly need. We will definitely stay geee again if returning to the area.
Check in was super easy. Cabin was clean with beautiful views. Love that it was not right in gatlinburg area but not far away from everything. Wanted the country feel with the views and that's exactly what we got. Definitely recommend staying here.
Outstanding cabin! Used or fantastic. Such a great time for my family and I! Will be back again soon
Outstanding cabin! Views are fantastic. The entire home was extremely clean and well-maintained. My wife and I and our two dogs truly enjoyed the time spent relaxing here! Will be back again soon!
This place is amazing. So clean and the attention to detail is wonderful. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds are comfy. The views are unreal - you can sit and watch the “smoke” off the mountains and have a perfect view for the sunset. The hosts, Tammy and Sam, are super responsive. This listing really doesn’t do the property justice. Only knock is that it’s impossible to fill the jacuzzi tub up with enough hot water. The water gets cold before it’s even close to full. But when I complained, they had someone out there immediately to look at it so maybe they will fix that. You are close enough to the National Park to go hike, close enough to go white water rafting/zip lining, and close enough to Gatlinburg and PF, but far enough to escape the touristy feel of those two towns. If you are wondering if you should book this place - do it. It is absolutely beautiful.
This cabin is amazing! The views are beautiful from the front porch or the master bedroom porch. The cabin very clean and is home away from home. It is a little further drive from Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge but the views are totally worth it to stay in a cabin in the mountains away from the city!
As others have stated, pictures does not do this property justice. We throughly enjoyed our 7 days here. The owners have went out of their way to make this home comfortable and beautifully decorated. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The view is amazing. We highly recommend.
We had an amazing time at this property. It was clean, really cute and well stocked with all linens and kitchen items you would ever need. We loved the coffee bar. The only thing I would note would be the drive up the hill to get there. Wow. That road needs paved desperately. We almost got stuck in the gravel several times and it was really hard on my tires. Outside of that a perfect getaway.
This was a great place to stay. Very clean. We did a lot of hiking in the area. We tried Gatlinburg a couple days but because we stayed close to spring break it was pretty busy. Not really our scene. We brought our dog with and he loved the vacation! Would book again.
