I have mixed feelings about our stay here. We really liked the location, it was close to the beach which we loved, the size of the property was fine for the 6 of us, we used both couches that fold into beds that are in the main living area, and the price was good, its tough to find something in Newport for $400/night or less. It's nice to have a washer and dryer on site. It was great to have the bedding and towels as part of the rental fee. There were nice televisions in both bedrooms and the main living area.
Here were my concerns:
-One of the couches in the front room has leather that is pealing all over it, I was constantly sweeping it up and it would stick to anyone that sat on it, it would have been really nice to have sheets to put on the couches for sleeping on.
-there are minimal dishes in the kitchen, not enough to have 6 people eat at one time
-the blinds through out had missing slats
-there were minimal supplies on hand, I ended up having to purchase laundry detergent (there was only one load of laundry worth when I goth there), and trash bags
-we never had access to the parking spot, someone was always in the covered car port, so parking was a pretty big hassle for us.
-the counter top had missing tile
-one of the bar stools were broken
-the lamps had missing light bulbs.
Overall I think that the property has good potential but it could use a little TLC to make it a more comfortable spot.
