Condo was clean and the grill out back works nice, especially if you want to save money and not eat out every night. The Rio raft company will shuttle you up river even if you have your own tubes for $15 per person.

The property was somewhat secluded in finding it at first but once you were there the gated community was nice. Also, being right on the Guadalupe was great! It was a convenient location to get around the Hill Country Area. The Condo was decorated well and had all the amenities we needed as well as being nice and clean. I would recommend it to a friend or relative.

Two month stay at RG 108 Happy Cow Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall we were happy with our experience staying in Unit 108. This was our third year in the unit. But there are small things, simple things that need to be addressed by the owner or the property management that have been ongoing for three years. We don’t know who is responsible to correct these things. One would not notice these things if you only stayed a few days or a week. An example would be the in the kitchen drawers. There are bowls and lids but the lids don’t fit anything. There are items that are not useable. Another example is the speed chain in the living room fan has been pulled out for the three years we’ve been there. We don’t know who is responsible but feel it should be corrected !

66 day stay in Happy Cow Condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed 66 days in the Happy Cow. Overall the furnishings were adequate but some sure getting to the point of needing to be replaced ( the chairs and sofa). The coffee table has needed work the last two years. I tried to help it but couldn’t help it much. I also put pads on kitchen chairs as they made such a noise when scooted! I replaced the sink drain stopper as it was broken. We brought our own sweeper this year as there wasn’t something to clean the carpets. The main carpet in the living room area is OK but the carpet in kitchen and hallways need to be cleaned or replaced. We are glad for these carpets. The coffee pot makes coffee but the carafe doesn’t keep it hot. We appreciated the new set of pans Amanda replaced. The new set was very useful. Obviously the owner s don’t visit this condo very often or they would see some of these needs.

I'm sure they get damaged and thrown out but we needed a large skillet for breakfast and a cooking sheet. The tubes were a bonus for our stay.

Great spot for floating and close to Whitewater

Rio Guadalupe Condominiums are a fun little spot right on the river. It's perfect for enjoying the Guad and very close to the amphitheater. The condo is spacious and they make it easy by providing tubes. A great way to enjoy the water and a show.

Great place to relax

My family and I needed a little get away, and this condo on the Guadalupe did the trick. The condo was nice and cozy, and the view was lovely. Everyone who was on the property followed the rules and pretty much kept to themselves. The river is right there and is perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaking, or just a place to sit by and meditate. Very serene. Soooo, I only have a few complaints that are not deal breakers. 1. The beds and pillows were not comfy. If you love a firm mattress, you’re in luck! The bed in the master was so loud. Every time one of us rolled over my kids in the other room could here it. Lol! 2. As lovely as the patio is, there is no privacy. The way the condos are designed makes it so you can see and hear everything from the patios on each side of you. Unless you’re familiar with the people in the condos adjacent to yours, it can be a bit awkward. 3. This one may not matter to most people, but it’s one of the first things I notice…the baseboards in the master and master bath were filthy. I know, it’s a bit silly, but hopefully the crew that goes in and cleans can take a few extra minutes and run the broom, vacuum, or mop over the baseboards each time they clean. So would I come back again? Absolutely! Would I recommend it to a good friend…Absolutely! The fact that were able to relax and not have to deal with the stressors we would deal with at home made the stay well worth it…despite my goofy complaints.

Christmas Girls Getaway

We cannot say enough how cute this spot is. The location was spacious and cozy. We managed to see wildlife every day. The beds were comfortable & plenty of extra towels were available. They do have a coffee pot and filters. We enjoyed coffee every morning on the porch. This location is a perfect spot for a girls trip in the hill country. We cannot wait to come back in the summer!

Nice and roomy, we went in and out throughout the door and the place kept cool, and literal steps to both the river and pool. Loved the fact it’s in a secluded part of river road. We went towards the end of September and it was soooo nice. It wasn’t crowded at all. The best part was being able to get in at the horseshoe and then float down to the house!!! We had the best time!

Very nice but very strict

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We booked a last minute stay here without reading reviews. We evacuated from Hurricane Ida and was looking for a chill place to meet my family that are from Austin. Upon arriving, we were very impressed with the condo and the grounds. The location is awesome. Our only complaint is that the security is INSANELY strict. There's a guard patrolling at all hours and will call you down if the music is barely up, even if everyone in the area is actively enjoying it. The list of rules was a mile wrong. You can't take the trash out without being stopped and asked, "where is your bracelet?" Your bracelet must stay on at all times, even kids! My three year old was the least impressed by this rule, as you can imagine. We had friends staying in the area that weren't allowed to even visit us at our condo because of them not having a "bracelet." Also, there's absolutely nothing in the kitchen. Not a single spice. Not even salt or pepper. Coming from Louisiana, we were looking for a more "let loose" time, but we made the most of it. I would only recommend this place to people who hate fun or people over the age of 80.
