Customer service was not acceptable in my experience.
Front desk hostess was ill coughing.
She did not greet me.
She told me I had to pay $50 incidental, and that it would be on hold for 3 to 10 days.
I asked her why this was to be held for so long?
In my previous experience, this was never the case. She said she just worked there.
I asked to talk to her manager and when I talked to the manager, the manager was just as unfriendly.
The manager told me I was the only person that ever complained about this.
The Manager (Angel) told the front desk clerk to cancel our room and told us to get a room elsewhere.
When we said we did not want to do that, it’s fine, we’ll pay the $50 on for incidentals, Angel the manager, who was on the phone, kept saying to cancel it.
Finally we got a room.
When we got to the room, the door was wide open number 417 and the room had not been cleaned.
The bed was not made.
We made our way back to the front desk and asked for a different room that was clean.
We travel many many places, and this has been the first time I’ve ever been treated with this disregard of empathy.
What happened to the guest being taken care of and being treated kindly?
