“This is a wonderful hotel. I’ve stayed at over a dozen Como hotels o er the years and Avenue is amount the best. Lovely personal. Excellent service. ”

“Upgraded room, larger than most in Como. Easy walk from the train station and the ferry. Air-conditioning was on in April, which was a plus. In room refrigerator and minibar. Plenty of storage and nice bathrooms. Breakfast had a lot of choices including omelets made to order. Great neighborhood. ”

“This is the best place I've stayed at in this Northern Italy trip hands down. This is a beautiful, classy property worthy any compliment thinkable for Como. It's modern, stylishly équipée, and very well maintained. No idea why anyone would complain about noise in previous comments. This is low season, almost no one in the hotel. I stood outside on the deck, and could hear nothing. Alicia is as friendly as anyone I've met in Italy. I'm already thinking of next visit. Thanks for a wonderful……

“Very accommodating & helpful host/owner. Just be aware if you don’t book in advance, and thus need to do a self-check-in, you will need to get the keys from a public locker shop about 2 blocks away. But if you arrange your check-in ahead of time, and hey can meet you at the property. The room was very clean, modern, & the beds were very comfortable! I do recommend this place when staying in Como.”
