Stunning views, spacious inside and out, peaceful and quiet, clean, comfortable, with everything you could possibly need. This was a lovely few days to just unwind and take in the serenity of the Oregon Coast. We even got great weather. A small and quiet neighborhood far from high travelled roads or highways yet close enough to towns for stores and restaurants. Perched upon a bluff overlooking the ocean with multiple decks and a fire pit. The Master is alone on the bottom floor with gorgeous views, a comfortable bed, and if you pop the window open at night no need for a “white noise” machine, you get the real thing with the ocean waves below. The top floor is a large out of the way entertainment area which was great for our 2 teenage boys equipped with super comfy reclining couches, a TV, tons of movies, a bathroom, and mini fridge for their endless appetites. The main floor has bunk beds in a back area, and another bedroom with an awesome soaker tub and shower which was great for my in-laws. We couldn’t get this TV to work but we didn’t really need it either. The kitchen has a ton of appliances including a coffee maker and Keurig (which I would’ve liked to have known about), and plenty of dishes. The living area has comfy couches and even a side room with a cozy window seat, all with views. The home is dog friendly, even supplies food and water bowl. This is the first home on the Oregon Coast I’ve rented that didn’t smell old, or musty, or of the beach, or of dogs. It was fresh, clean, supplied with dish/washer detergent, dish/hand soap, and plenty of towels.
The only negative was the beach access. It says there is a trail that leads to rocks which have a rope to help you down. We couldn’t get our dog down this way and she is small, or carry anything because you need your hands. The rocks were super slippery from being wet and covered with green slimy stuff. To be fair, a woman who was trying to get down with her kids said she grew up here and has never seen it slippery like this. My boys managed to get across a different way, but the rest of us were slipping and it was just too dangerous so we had to drive to Neskowin or Pacific City to be on the beach.
Absolutely loved this place and hope to rent it again in the future.
