"Absolutely great place to enjoy the peace and serenity of a lakefront retreat. Hugely spacious A-frame house with kitchen and baths that contribute to your comfort. Hosts, Donna & Paul, offered friendly waves & hellos, there if you need them, leave you to yourself if you choose. "All I can say is WOW! Frank and Linda are absolutely great folks and the view from the back porch was beautiful! Linda was so thoughtful and had baked muffins, cookies, and an anniversary package for us! Btw her baking skills are level 10! I very much enjoyed visiting with Frank at our check in. The proposer was PEACEFUL exactly what we were looking for. We will 100% be making a return visit to this gem in east texas. "

"At first no luck on fishing, but finally caught a small bass, a large carp, and a small catfish on minnows. We had some rain and some cold but the Lord provided nice breaks in between so we could venture more outdoors. Took the boat tour and ate at Big Pines Lodge. Sat by fire pit and on the deck when weather permitted. Cabin is beautifully decorated and had all the things you need. Only issue is stairs if you have knee problems."

"This was our second time at The Fairway. So comforting to know we’d arrive with ease of check-in and clean, welcoming rental. The view is beautiful sitting on the deck and even grilling up some steaks. The extras of bath mats, snacks, hand soaps really makes a difference… it’s the “little things” . Close to all we needed. Comfy beds. And happy to do my LETU student’s laundry! plenty of towels. Would def stay here again! "

"The moment we stepped into La Belle Maison we felt as if we had stepped back in time. The home is gorgeous, filled with period furniture pieces and decorated with beautiful artwork. "I was raised in Jefferson and still have family who live there. This visit I wanted my 15 year old granddaughter to have a great experience of Downtown Jefferson. The room was perfect for our stay.
