"We enjoyed our stay at this property, mostly because we had a lovely ground floor waterfront room and everything was easy to walk to from the hotel. The bathroom was a downside with the shower over the bath and very small and quite shabby. The bistro area was closed which was disappointing also as this hadn't been pointed out before our stay and still appeared to be open when looking on google. Overall we would stay again if we could have the same room. "

Disappointing that the gentleman who asked if it was our first visit and when advised yes, he didn't let us know that the soldiers club across the road provided temporary membership during our stay. We ate and had a few drinks there and could have benefited from members discounts. Recommend this be mentioned to guests checking in. We only realised when checking out from the little envelope they place your keycard in."
