Be prepared to politely but forcefully decline the hard sell by local tailors wanting to sell you handmade shirts and suits, unless that is what you actually want.
If you want to spend a huge amount of money in branded luxury goods then this is your place. I do not enjoy this type of shopping!
Liked the walkways from the hotel to get to other parts of the city
Watch out for locals touting for business constantly, fake watches, suits shirts etc
Lots of bargains, plenty of places to eat, lots of buses to/from ferry. Felt reasonably safe even when on my own.
