We enjoyed our stay in Nashville and at the Heritage House even though the weather did not cooperate. The Heritage House has a great location that is at the end of a private street but very close to the state park and to all of the dining and shopping in Nashville.
Heritage House is an older farmhouse and is charming. A rather unusual floor plan with a two kitchens, upstairs and downstairs. The dishwasher is in the smaller kitchen upstairs, so we just washed dishes by hand downstairs. The bed was comfortable. The floors are creaky, but in a very pleasant way. Both showers are quite small and there is no tub, so that can make showering somewhat awkard if you want to shave your legs ;) Overall the house is cozy and comfortable and convenient. We didn't get to try the hot tub or do as much outdoors as we hoped due to the bad weather, so can't comment on that.
One thing that could definitely be changed for the better is the check-in process. The property really needs a lock box. Having to find the check-in location at night in the pouring rain was inconvenient particularly in light all other homes that I have stayed at have lock boxes with codes so you can access the property directly. I would change this to make it more convenient.
Oh and if in Nashville, try the pizza and beer at Quaff On! The pizza was very good and I am not a beer drinker, but the seasonal pumpkin beer was excellent :)
