"We love Essenhaus Inn. We stay there everytime we are in Middlebury to see our grandson's school programs. It is perfect - great rooms, delicious breakfast in a lovely large dining room - complete with fireplace! Friendly and helpful staff available to answer any questions or requests. Lots of shops, great restaurant and bakery nearby. "

"The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The room is dated but if you want clean, quiet and comfortable at a reasonable price they deliver. "

"Immaculate cleanliness. Excellent and courteous staff. Parking was a nightmare. If you know that over half of your clientele is driving trucks and hauling trailers, there should be ample parking. One truck and trailer occupied ten "regular parking spaces", and one RV occupied five parking spaces. Only open space was on the opposite side of the property from my room. Breakfast was extremely limited."
