“We really enjoyed our stay! We were comfortable and had everything we needed to fix meals (which we loved eating on the lanai). We had a great time playing golf on the golf course The views were incredible! ”

“Absolutely a beautiful spot to stay! And just what we wanted, a little spot off the beaten path. Beautiful place, gorgeous property and a sighting of the resident donkey! David, the owner met us for check in and provided information. Sufficient equipment in the kitchen to cook meals. Lovely to sit out on the porch to sip beverages and hear and see the birds. We were doing local hikes and taking in the sights at the national volcano park and it’s a 45 minute drive -very doable and lovely. And……

“Wanted to get a feel for DH vibe. My son recently purchased a lot there. This is our 7th trip to the Big Island, and first time to stay in Naalehu. Definitely more chill, less people and less touristy. Volcano was spectacular! House was adequate. Furnishings were spartan, not very homey. Kitchen was very nice with newer appliances, except the frig door didn't seal tightly.Overall an enjoyable stay, it's Hawaii!!”

“Beautiful view and great accommodation”

“It was a nice quiet place to stay while I was getting a few things done at my house. The parking was right next to the yurt. The bathroom and sink are in another building. There was a microwave and fridge. The coffee was good. It was windy and the outer window coverings were really loud, so bring earplugs just in case. It was nice to see the stars while laying in bed. I would stay again.”

“We loved our time here! The property is just like the photos and it's so close to Volcanoes National Park. There was an eruption the day we arrived and we were able to get to it in 10 minutes. It's also just beautiful to be surrounded nature. A comment: there weren't any blinds/curtains, so be aware when the sun comes through in the morning.”
