I stayed at a peaceful pastel with my family during the 4th of July week. The house was as described and clean. The check-in process was straightforward, and there was good communication with the property manager via text or phone.
One thing we were not expecting was massive construction happening directly out our front door. The entire road was shut down and being ripped apart to install what appeared to be new sewer lines. For three days in a row, we were shaken awake at 7 am by heavy machinery. I understand this was out of the control of the property management, but I wish we could have gotten a slight discount for the inconvenience or at least a heads-up that it would be going on.
Other than that, the neighborhood was quiet and nice. It was within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and a playground.
My only complaint about the house itself is the beds are VERY firm/hard and seem old. For the price of this listing, I hope they decide to upgrade the mattresses for future guests.
