"The place was cozy, comfortable and clean. The only thing that I did not like was that my room was up against some sort of control room. Not sure what it was, however, I awoke during the night and the humming sound from this room kept me awake. However, not a deal breaker, definitely recommend this place. The location is perfect. I hope to return again this year."

"The cabin is larger than I expected; it is essentially a small house, and proved supremely comfortable. Vermont gets *cold* in the winter, but we always felt cozy inside. The decor, while simple, is tasteful and evokes a Longfellowian image of a comfortable country retreat. Shower and bath is *hot* and revitalizing. We hiked up the Appalachian trail and supplied our necessities at the Country Store, both within easy walking distance. Difficult hike in snowy and icy conditions, but well worth it for the views alone. Probably the most beautiful winter visage I’ve ever seen. What truly made the trip unforgettable was the singular hospitality and amiability of the hosts, however. Not even in Japan does one get that level of generosity, warmth, and Samaritan spirit. The blueberry muffins in particular, especially after 13 hours of hiking, were delicious. The hostess was even so kind as to give us a ride back to the airport. One will be coming again — though perhaps in warmer times!"

"Very nice and affordable place to stay near Killington Base. Staff were all great. Shuttle bus service back and forth to the mountain was so very convenient. Will definitely return when the snow keeps falling! "

"Our suite was beautiful, and had a nice view from the deck. The jacuzzi tub was big enough to fit 2 in. The bathroom was roomy with his/hers sinks and a decent sized shower. The indoor pool, hot tub and workout area were just a short distance away (we chose to drive it due to icy conditions.) The breakfast was somewhat limited but very good (toast, bagels, bacon, scrambled eggs, yogurt, cereal, fruit, coffee and juices.) We would definitely stay there again if we are in the area. The only thing that wasn't working right was the fireplace, but they offered to come fix it and we refused the offer."
