"Stunning views of lake and mountains out every window! Chef-prepared cook-to-order breakfast (delicious!) We enjoyed the sauna, wood-fire hot tub, and plush robes. Comfortable lounge with floor to ceiling windows; I curled up there to read a good book and have a cup of tea in the evenings. Lodge had not many rooms, so it was quiet and felt very private. Staff was wonderful, very welcoming and accommodating. Couldn’t recommend any higher."

"We had such a wonderful stay at the Ferry! It is perfectly located and the property and rooms are beautiful. The owners were very welcoming and gave us great recommendations for around town. "I could put up photos of the amazing view of Glenorchy and the surrounds but chances are that you've already seen them and are now looking for a place to stay. The Lake House is comfortable and situated very close to the lake. This is both a good thing and a bad thing. "The wifi was non-existent. The owner made us feel uncomfortable when we were using the kitchen and he was not a people person. It did have a beautiful view from the dining room though. It seemed over priced compared to other places we have stayed."

"View from the room was amazing. Room was also pretty cute. Lovely owner and very welcoming. Just wished the TV in my room was working. It also got bit noisy at night because of the other guest family and kids but somehow I managed to get an ok sleep if not a beauty one. Overall it was a good experience."
