"Fabulous stay at the George inn. Couldn't have been made to feel more welcome. Love the quirkiness of the pub / hotel. It's a beautiful old building and has rich history. The breakfast is fantastic, our family room was huge, clean and very comfortable. Excellent car park and superbly based to see the gorgeous surroundings. Highly recommend anyone staying here. "

"I stayed here for work in the area. Accomodation is clean and staff were friendly. Has a good selection of food and drink. I had the best fish and chips here ive had in quite a while but the menu is large enough t cover pub grub or a good steak or curry. I liked it here and would stat again no issue. "

"An absolute fantastic stay, couldn't of asked for a better quality hotel for the price at last minute. The communication from the hotel was perfect as we were checking in late and the reception had phoned to check what time to make sure that no requirements were needed. "A lovely romantic getaway! Very friendly staff, tastefully decorated rooms and great breakfast! Its remote but its a great position to explore the area. We werent very impressed with our dinner from the pub but we ordered late so maybe we were just unlucky. We stayed in 'Normandy' room which is a superior double - nice room but it only has a bath, no shower, which we didnt realise when we request a room with a bath. We would definitely stay again when in the area. "
