"We had a great time staying at "My Happy Place". We cooked 2 large breakfasts and one dinner and we had every single kitchen gadget or utensil needed. We were able to gather at the large table for meals and then on the outside deck area if weather allowed. The walk down to the dock was a little steep, but so worth it, since we had our own private dock for swimming and a great view of the lake and mountains. "Quiet, peaceful and serene. The calming rush of the river below, which is constantly heard, is soothing and relaxing. Though neighbors are a distance away, you still feel isolated. Wildlife all around, with great walks right from the door. I highly recommend."

"Very clean. Host has remembered the little details for example a special black washcloth for makeup and remote to change temp of air conditioner from bed. Has toaster, crockpot, toaster oven, spices....i would not recommend to a tall person. Feet may hang off bed.😆"

"Friendly host. The outdoor area was perfect to enjoy and have fun outside. Loved that there were no tvs in the home. Clean and well equipped. A few minor inconveniences, but manageable and didn’t cause problems. Overall wonderful, fun time with family. Plan to stay again."

"We enjoyed having the pool which was clean just needed a hand railing to enter, which the owner said he'd find out what happened to it. Enjoyed having the lake even though the gnats were bad near this end of it, it was great to kayak on. House was plenty big n had everything we needed. We enjoyed our stay. "8/10 Overall, the cabin was pretty good! It had most of what you needed like laundry detergent, different types of cooking utensils, and the shower heads were new-ish with good water pressure. However, there was one big drawback - spiderwebs. Normally in a wooded area spiderwebs are expected, but the large cobweb I found in one of the bedroom windowsills was massive and clearly had not been cleaned in 1+ months.  In my opinion, this is unacceptable since we are charged a cleaning fee and the...
