This how experience was bizarre. I booked 1 night at Warrenmang, all confirmed and paid.
Thje next day I received 2 missed calls when I was out of service (on the drive to Moonambel) but no voicemails. Check in was strange and the staff asked me if hotels.com had contacted me to which I replied no but I have missed calls which could be them.
Staff then told us that there was no chef so no restaurant- there is nothing open for dinner in proximity!
Pool unusable and green.
Shower didn't work and water running out of taps was brown and dirty.
Room was dirty and incredibly dated despite claiming to be renovated.
Later that night hotels.com called me and asked if I had checked in to which I replied yes and they hung up- strange. The next day I saw I had an email from hotels.com saying Warrenmang was overbooked and couldn't accommodate me. You think they would have left a voicemail to tell me this when they had called the first time! The drive to Warrenmang was 3 hours from my house and I was already in Moonambel by the first time hotels.com had tried to contact me. I suspect Warrenmang knew the room they put me in was terrible, but as I turned up naively they acted as nothing had happened and put me in it.
I would stongly advise against staying here!! Oh and also the still charge $150 a night for this dive
Awesome views and great nature but we expected to have nice meal for dinner and spa however there were not chef so we need to cook by ourselves or drive to next town that is very disappointing also spa is under renovation that is also very disappointing we wanted to know correct information on the booking site when we booked
The rooms had totally inadequate heating which had not been turned on in advance on a freezing day. The restaurant was not open & that was not evident in the publicity when I booked. A cheese platter was offered..
The 'wine tasting' was from half empty bottles - some of the reds had apparently been in the fridge. The 'breakfast basket' contained a tired small bowl of what appeared to be canned fruit and a similar one of yoghurt covered with glad wrap. The 'toasting bread' - 4 stale slices in a paper bag.Packets of cereal were included in the basket. There was no TV but wifi was available. I will not return and would not recommend.
In fairness, the young man who booked us in was very apologetic but we did not stay.
Didn’t know there were new owners who had sacked all the staff. No dining room as it was closed. Breakfast was rice bubbles sachet, special k sachet, old bread and preprepared soggy fruit. Terrible water which couldn’t be hidden by boiling and the pool was a nice shade of green.
The room was clean, the bed linen and towels were nice.
No hospitality and didn’t seem to care.
Disappointed

Basic service. Very plain breakfast. Limited facilities in the room though it was very clean.
An amazing little winery tucked away in country victoria, well provisioned and with just enough of what one would need for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city,
I didn’t stay - I walked past a green pool to find a room that I specifically asked to be air conditioned as I was working, to find a cedar hot box with an air conditioner that looked 100 years old. Not only did it look it but it ran like it. Wasn’t even persuaded to stay, no argument, because I don’t think they could. Would not advise staying here.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms and facilities a bit dated, but clean and very comfortable bed. Loved the balcony with sunset views
