Wonderful Week at the River House!!
We spent a week at the River House in August of 2024. Me my husband, two teens and my elderly dad. The house had everything we could possibly need and then some! It's perfectly located on Nomini Creek directly facing the sunset, which we enjoyed every evening. The dock has a nice swimming area with small beach entry right next to the huge screened-in porch and fire pit. The interior has comfortable beds, plenty of towels and a well appointed kitchen for cooking and baking. There is a Food Lion close by and we discovered a wonderful farmer's market called Garner's about 3.5 miles south on Rt. 3. So many birds and wildlife to watch just sitting on the deck. The gated entry gave us an extra sense of privacy & security too. We loved how quiet and tucked away it was - ideal for a great time just chilling out. The owner and property manager were lovely to work with. We will definitely be back!
