"We loved our stay at Effect Lodge. Our room overlooked the back side of the property, including the pool. Great views and an open feel in our large room. The host was so gracious and helpful. She recommended public transportation for our visit to Old Lyon, and it worked out perfectly. She also provided direction in getting our laundry taken care of. In many ways, staying at Effect felt like being at home. Highly recommend this property!"

The only problem it's to get there, it doesn't have a easy connection with the centre of Lyon and around the hotel there is not enough things to do and the Hotel doesn't have instalation for recreation. "Room was generally clean, very basic room, it was super worth the price that we paid! Hair dryer upon request at the concierge, and the concierge was very friendly and nice. Just make sure to figure your way there earlier as bus timings are irregular, but it is 40 mins from the city which is not bad at all!!! Highly recommend. "

"We expected LaChatard to be nice but a fairly basic stopover for our visit to the area however the service, facilities, and restaurant were all fantastic. The restaurant serves a local menu and wine, and the food was beautiful. Service was very friendly and accommodating. The team evidently took pride in their work. Facilities were comprehensive too with a well stocked gym, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, and sunbathing area. A great place to stay."
