“Loved our stay here. It’s perfectly located to walk to the center of town and the train and launching points for other activities! The staff were lovely including the sweet driver. We arrived early and so waited for our room in the lounge. Staff provided tea and the wait was pleasant. However, at the changing of shifts it seems the next shift didn’t know we had arrived and were waiting so I reduced a star for that. “In a beautiful quite village with breath-taking view of Mont Blanc! Yet quite a few facilities were closed during summer season. All kinds of tablegames are prepared, and decoration inside was very homey. Breakfast was full of choices. Francesca is not only friendly but helpful with all kinds of information. “So disappointing. We booked this as a mid-way break on our 16 day driving tour; 1 night in a resort with spa facilities. The pool, hot tub, saunas, and whirlpool; all closed. The bar was closed! One of 2 restaurants on site was open. One of the couples got the robe and slippers, the other couple did not. No apology, no money off. We were told we could use a nearby hotel pool; it was snowing!
