Unreliable, Missed Wedding
Bad experience. In response to a communication I sent on 09/26, I was informed that the house was not going to be available a day before my stay was supposed to begin. I was unable to find another location that would permit pets. As a result, I missed my niece's wedding. And to add insult to injury, I had already picked up the rental car for the trip which cost me $540.

Shocked to receive a cancellation on the morning of check-in. Holiday weekend. Flying cross country for graduation. At least a prompt refund was issued. I would give it zero stars if I could.

Home is fine, communication was poor
The house and stay were fine. Some issues with bugs (screen/window gaps let them in), window in shower not fully private). Our main issue was that we had no communication from the host on check in (how to get in) until well past the check in time. We actually thought we'd have to find somewhere else to stay. Right before we gave up (almost 2 hours after check in time), we heard back from the host finally ( had reached out several times via app, phone, nothing). Very frustrating start.

Comfortable/Cozy Cottage
We enjoyed our stay at this nicely decorated clean, quaint, and cozy cottage. I especially liked spending time reading in the sunroom. It was conveniently located to many places to visit (Bear Mountain State Park, Pride of the Hudson, Brotherhood Winery, and West Point). It did lack some of the amenities we are typically used to finding in a vacation rental (electric coffee pot; hand towels; toilet tissue holder/towel rack; and hangers in the closet).

nicely done but parking sort of an issue, no smoke detector, film on shower window partially scratched off allowing view from outdoors, one pillow on two person bed, no extra pillows or blankets and couldn't get tv to work, which, although silly, created an unhappy situation.

Overall our stay was nice and we enjoyed the home. Sadly it appeared they were very under prepared for our stay. Minimal amenities like very few cooking utensils, no spices or oil, limited pans, plates or silverware, no toilet paper or paper towels, and sadly no extra bedding or towels. The owner was upfront about their bathroom renovations but it was done so poorly it was a bit of a hindrance to our stay. The yard again, has so much potential but has not been taken care of. Construction trash/material everywhere, natural debris all over, not safe for children at all. For the cost, this home was very poorly taken care of and we had to buy many extra supplies to just enjoy living normally for a weekend.

Nice and quiet but better drive in reverse
Property is nice, master bed is very comfortable. We didn't spend much time at the property. One thing that needs improving is a handle on the exterior of the front door. It would help immensely when leaving to aid in locking the house.

Convenient cottage in beautiful Hudson Valley
Beautiful cottage in Hudson Valley - the property was just as listed in the images online. We had a 2 year old and a 5 year old with us and there was plenty of space to put our toddler's pack and play in the large main bedroom. Our five year old stayed in the second bedroom which worked out great. The host was very responsive to questions that we had and easy to communicate with.

lovely modern cottage
The place was just as the pictures showed. It appears to have been recently redone. All very modern & new. Perhaps missing some of the touches of a "lived in" home (such as towels hooks, extra bathroom soap or a tea kettle), but the place was clean, comfortable and perfect for our needs :)

Just needed a day to unwind!
This was such a cozy place for me and my gals to just unwind! Eat, drink and relax. Nicely kept with a Chip & Joanna Gaines feel to it. The host was super attentive, sent me a warm welcome text upon checkin and when I sent a text for the WiFi he responded within minutes. Would definitely stay here again.
