"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The host was lovely and very communicative - she happily let us check in early, and check out late. Amazing proximity to Sequoia National Park. Only room for improvement would be if the property had its own private entrance. You have to drive past a couple of houses to get to the location, so we were a little confused getting to the house, but it all worked out!"

"I shared a spacious room with my 2 adult kids at Lazy J"s and we were very comfortable. 2 queens AND 2 singles . Clean comfortable bedding, extra blankets (our trip was in Nov) , enough towels in the bathroom. Maid service replaced everything correctly each day. We drove up from LA and arrived at 8:45 pm but were still welcomed at reception.Very friendly atmosphere. Parked right in front of our room. As it was dark when we arrived we had no idea what lovely views would greet us the next day. Great place to drive into Sequoia National Park each day. Room had fridge & microwave & coffee machine so we were able to eat in room. Had a wonderful stay. Humming birds galore!!!"

"I stayed at the cabin for a solo trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. It was a convenient location to the parks and provided a cozy place to sleep the two nights I was there. It was clean and comfortable and everything I needed was provided. I didn't spend much time on the property during the day, but spent some time looking at stars in the clear night sky, listening to the quiet sounds of nature at the end of my day. The bathroom and shower buildings are locked, and you are in control of them as you are provided the keys. The shower had towels and other amenities. The owners were very pleasant and communicative. It was a lovely place in a beautiful part of California!"

"I arrived prepared to rough it knowing that I’m in the woods and I did not expect the amenities and comforts that were available. I had the feeling of communing with nature while simultaneously having all the comforts of home. The property manager communicated everything I needed to know to access the property and maximize the experience. As a retired Marine living on a fixed income, I thought the price of the stay was reasonable. The best endorsement I can think of is “I intend to stay here again.”"
