The Luau

My family loved staying here! Condo is just as pictured. Very clean and neat. The bed was comfortable, and I loved the fully stocked kitchen. The large balcony was nice with a great view of the grounds and peeks of the ocean. We enjoyed the large pool, hot tub and very short walk to the beach. Don’t forget to check out the sundeck on the very top of the building. Beautiful ocean views and watching the sunset was a plus! This was our first stay on Sandestin properties, and it won’t be our last!

Nice place wait unit after 8/2025 to book & don’t count on Vacasa for resolution

Luau Buildings 1 & 2 are under construction until August 2025. The noise was extremely loud and woke us every morning at 8 a.m. Unfortunately, there was no way to escape the disruption—even at the pool, though it was slightly less bothersome there. I booked this unit back in December and was never notified about the construction. Vacasa only informed me after I arrived, claiming the notice was on the website—something that must have been added after my booking. The unit itself is nice, but I’m very disappointed in Vacasa’s handling of the situation and their lack of proactive communication or meaningful resolution.

This condo was absolutely beautiful! All of the furnishings are gorgeous, yet comfortable! The views from the windows and balconies are also amazing, the bay to the right and the ocean to the left. The walls do seem a little thin, as we could hear our neighbors tv in our bedroom, but that is something that can’t really be fixed. The property was very easy to access (it is April, not peak season), and I wish we would have had more time to use the tram system, or extensive walkways, to explore the area more! We would definitely rent this unit again!!!

Amazing stay!

my boyfriend and I stayed here and it was an amazing stay! I would recommend it to anyone! It is perfect for families or just couples. The room was very clean and well kept. I wish there were more blankets though because the bed has a very thin sheet. Although you don’t have a beach view, the view was absolutely beautiful. The distance to the beach is walkable, but far enough to where we wanted to drive. There are a lot of things to do within the resort for families or couples. It was a 10/10. Easy check in and checkout also.
