Save yourself the hassle of dealing with a garbage property manager because you WILL run into issues. I wish I was kidding. My husband and I are pretty relaxed and can overlook a lot of things, but this rental was just too much. When we walked in, right away we saw the wallpaper was coming off the walls and the floor was dirty (toenail clippings, hair, dead bugs). The balcony lock didn't work. This is a first floor rental, so it would be different if people couldn't access your balcony. The king bed has broken slats under the mattress. When anyone sits on it, they sink down into an actual hole where the broken boards are. They have temporary velcro straps trying to "fix" it, but they're broken. So they knew this was an issue and didn't fix it. It makes a delightful sound that echoes in the tiny room. On to the futon! My 2 kids were planning on sleeping on this because the listing said the futon sleeps 2 people. Whenever you try to lay on it when it is in the "bed" position, it would fold up like a taco. We had to strategically place the kids so they could keep the bed open without them getting crushed. It was extremely annoying. I messaged the property manager the first day to let them know this unit was not only unsafe, but not clean or comfortable upon arrival. The property manager told me they would send a cleaning crew my phone number. Great! I got a phone call from a company telling me they're located in Panama City so they wanted to be sure it was absolutely necessary that they come. I said yes because it was pretty gross. They told me they'd call me back in 10 minutes. No follow up call so we cleaned it. Maintenance got in touch with me to fix the issues 2 days after we got there. AWESOME! Except when she arrived, she told us she's been there many times to put a bandaid on the beds. She told us she couldn't do anything about the beds anymore because they're beyond repair and need to be replaced. She told the property manager the same thing. I have screenshots of this message. When I reached out to the property manager later on in the day (because I didn't hear from them), they told me maintenance fixed the issues. When I told them what maintenance told me, I got no response. Nothing! The last night the AC froze up/stopped working so the vents dripped on the futon all night. We slept like crap the entire stay. I really hope no one books this in the future. It made our stay horrible. It needs new beds and a new manager! I regret booking here
