「 We had a wonderful stay at Hillcrest Mansion Inn. It felt like stepping onto a film set worthy of Downton Abbey. The house is beautiful; it was so nice and peaceful to spend time in such a warm and cozy place. Breakfast was phenomenal, Martha is an amazing cook. 「We pulled in at 5pm and were promptly greeted by Bill (Judie's husband). He checked us in and gave us a brief tour of the building and the farm. Our room was spacious and well appointed, and the bathroom with the slipper claw foot tub was very nice. It was modern but maintained much of the character we appreciate. Breakfast was excellent, and included an impromptu lesson from Bill on (re)construction of the premises. Unfortunately Judie was under the weather, so we didn't get a chance to meet...

「We were disappointed with our stay at the Buckhorn Inn. I had called the owner in the morning to let them know of our time of arrival and nobody was there to unlock the door for us. I felt so welcomed during my entire stay, from checking in to check in out and every breakfast in between, which were great and delicious by the way. 「The rooms at this place are all very different so it would pay to look first and see which one you are getting bc there are some REALLY cluttered ones (as were ours) and then some others that were super streamlined and nicer! Not only was everything cozy and clean but we had almost hte entire upstairs to ourself.
