"This is a wonderfully located hotel, right next to the Ala Moana shopping center. The pricing (room and parking) is on par with other Hawaii hotels. The hotel rooms are clean, but a little on the smaller side. The room that we were in look like it was remodeled, as there was no black mold in the bath area. "

"Great hotel just a block from the beach and the heart of downtown Waikiki. The hotel is a little dated, but it has everything you need on site or a stones throw away. Kai and Brendan went out of their way on two separate occasions to help me with my room, and I sincerely appreciate their hospitality. Would highly recommend this property and would stay here again if I'm back on the island! Mahalo "

"The yoga and zumba instructors were top notch - great way to start your day and these are included in the resort fees! Boogie board checkout was also a nice touch. Pool area was enjoyable and balconies overlook a koi fish pond. Only downside was when we asked about the possibility of a one hour later checkout, we were made to feel bad for booking through Expedia instead of directly through the resort. "

"We stayed in the historic wing which was my preference. Yes, rooms are dated, and there are weird electrical set-ups because the property is so old, but the historic wing is really special, and I loved it. The folks at the front desk were not consistently great, and one person was really rude which was weird. Valet and bell service folks were fantastic! Housekeeping service was so-so, but the people doing the housekeeping were really nice. For days where you stay at the resort, don’t pre-book...
