"Overall, good experience and would come back. The property itself is absolutely beautiful and has more coastline than any other hotel in Mendocino as far as I know. Multiple lookout points on bluffs and semi private access to a rocky beach. The room was clean and comfortable with vaulted ceilings, a large bathroom with heated floors. The property itself is so nice that it deserves a higher level of service and amenities. Dinner menu was small and not impressive so we chose to eat elsewhere....

"Just returned from my solo stay for four nights at the Beachcomer Motel in Fort Bragg and couldn’t be happier with the accommodations. My king room was large with a comfy bed and chair, lots of plug-in options, appeared to be recently remodeled with nice furniture, lamps and mirrors. No daily housekeeping, which I preferred, but easy to call and get anything that was needed. Sunsets from my ocean view room were spectacular. I’ll be back!"

I thought that putt putt golf was included in the stay, but was advised that since we booked through Hotels.com and not through the hotel directly that we would have to pay for golf. "The rooms are absolutely beautiful. With jetted tubs, robes & comfy beds. The views are breathtaking and you can walk out onto rhe cliffs and beaches right outside your room. Shopping, eating, and other beaches are just a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. The hotel was short staffed and we never fealt that. They were ao friendly and welcoming."

"Overall a great stay, but the bed was too hard for us to really enjoy our second night. Attempting to sleep on your side resulted in stiff shoulders and hips and our backs were stiff as well. Kind of sad to spend so much money on a hotel room that you don’t even look forward to sleeping in the bed at. We stayed there in the same category of room 5 years ago when it was under a different name and ownership and never had any issues with bed comfort."
