"The hotel is very old and charming! It adds to the atmosphere of the area. If you’re looking for all the modern amenities this would not be the best choice. Internet was sporadic and there was no TV service which was a reminder of how old the hotel is. I thought it was a wonderful break from 2024!"

"The owner or manager was quite accommodating with early checkin for our luggage and let us use her mini refrigerator. She was very friendly and gave us a tour of this 1889 home. She made a delicious breakfast accommodating my gluten and dairy intolerance. The bed and room were totally comfortable! The only drawbacks were sharing the bathroom with the three other rooms making six people using the one bathroom. A water filter is also needed for the brown water."

"1735 is an excellent little get-a-way, I booked it for my girlfriend’s birthday as a bed and breakfast and it did not disappoint. It’s nestled in a quiet area that disconnects you from the world yet is less than 20 minutes from Albany. The design, upkeep, and architecture is quite remarkable. "We had a comfortable and lovely stay. The hostesses Viktoria and Irina were very hospitable, friendly and helpful, if you have any questions feel free to ask them. The property has a great location, it is close to the center of Windhem. Our room was clean, comfortable, with beautiful view and excellent internet service. "We really enjoyed our stay in Hunter. The house met our needs well for a large family gathering. The hot tub and game room were excellent. Beutiful inside.It is close to shopping and hiking trails in the area. We did a lot of cooking and could have used larger cutting boards and baking/roasting pans. Be aware that the house is right on the main road into Hunter. The pinball machine was frustrating at times because the ball would get stuck.Overall it was a great stay."
