"This is definitely a place to visit! The staff is sooooo attentive! We stayed in one of their airstream mobile homes and loved it. It was cozy and sweet. Comfort Tx. is so close to many other big towns. However staying here will give you that small town vibe. It is a safe quiet place. We will DEFINITELY come back again!!! "

"The property is nestled in the Medina mountains in an 11 room resort and spa. The owners met with us each night sharing stories, laughs, wine and food. In the morning we hiked up the mountain trail to a cabin with a back deck that overlooked the hillside. If you want peace, quiet, no children and good old fashion conversation you will not find any better than Escondida Resort. The entire staff is humble, courteous and good people to share a cup of coffee or a laugh. I highly recommend this...

"My wife and I frequent the Texas Hill Country and look for quiet cabins in remote areas. This one was perfect for us. The cabin is well maintained, clean, and lacking in nothing. The location was remote, quiet, and literally on the river. It is hard to access the water because of the steep river bank. There is a large rope provided to stabilize your climb down and back up. "This place is just A-MAZING!!! We were a huge party of 26 people with ages ranging between 6-78. Tons of games and activities helped keep everyone busy.
