“Our stay at Hillside Retreat was nothing short of amazing! This beautiful property became our home away from home during our time in Hocking Hills. The peace, quiet, and tranquility were exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway.The house itself is incredibly spacious, impeccably maintained, and immaculately clean. The beds were all super comfy. The kitchen is well-equipped kitchen and provided everything we needed for meals.We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of entertainment options……

“The house was awesome. Just like the photos. The kitchen was amazing. My siblings and I took my mom to Hocking Hills to celebrate her 92nd birthday, complete with decorations and birthday pie.Maria was great and was able to answer all of our questions in a timely fashion.Mom is already talking about coming back in the fall.”

“The small house where we stayed was humble, clean, and nicely decorated with great books on the shelves. It was lovely to be by a pasture with wide skies and green rolling hills all around. At night we opened the windows to hear the peepers and farm animals quietly living alongside us. Margot and John were gracious hosts. We loved joining Margot for morning chores and meeting all the animals, especially the dogs. ”

“This property was very clean and offered plenty of space, including two full bathrooms. The hot tub was also very clean, but the jets were not entirely functional. A few added amenities such as body wash, hair dryer, a box of facial tissues, and a place to hang clothes in the master bedroom would really up the game. Overall a good stay though.”
