"Like staying at Grandma’s house! Sweet little cottage in a private location. Plenty of room in yard for children or a dog to run (the yard is not enclosed). There are four grocery stores nearby, and it is very convenient to Weaverville and 20 minutes to Asheville (with no traffic). The kitchen is well-supplied. We spent most of our time in the cozy living room."

"Wow....this house exceeded all of our expectations.... a fabulous secluded location and just a very short drive to the town of Black Mountain (which is very cool). Everything you need is within a couple of minute drive. The house is new, very well appointed and very clean. The large lot provides a lot of privacy with a great fire pit for evening socializing in a natural setting. You can get to Asheville and all of it's amenities in about 15 easy minutes. We highly recommend this property...........

"We stayed at this lovely farmhouse while we were volunteering in Burnsville. It was very clean, comfortable, and well stocked. It was a short walk to the town center and conveniently located near grocery store. We would definitely stay here again. Great backyard area!"

"Great new place to stay. Comfortable, very clean, beds are comfy and the common area is huge. One note, this is the bottom floor of a house where other people live so it is a shared house and there is some noise from above but nothing crazy. "

"Great location in west Asheville. Even after Helene there were many walkable options for food and beverage. It was a quick drive to downtown or the Crowne Plaza where we were attending a conference. Hot tub was a delight! Lots of great instructions/maps/recommendations posted in the rental. We hope to be back!"

"This is a really nice property that is walking distance to many fun things in downtown Asheville. All the extras are available for use like shampoo, coffee, spices etc! We would stay here again!"

"The house is the perfect set up for 2 couples. A king en suite on opposite sides of the house. The screeded in porch was wonderful to gather at the end of the day. All needed amenities were there. Wooded hilly location was very pretty. Most things we wanted to do were within a 20 minute drive. Hosts were very responsive and nice. Will definitely stay again when in Asheville."

"This is the best house!! Best for peace and relaxation if that is what you want. If you want fun/interesting things to do, this is a great location to access lots of things to do. This is my 5th stay in Lickskillet, including 2 times this summer and last summer. I love this house for many reasons"
